How much can one woman endure before she is fed up and realize it’s time to walk away? For Kandi it was years of mental, physical and sexual abuse. Hospital stays, beatings and being raped repeatedly. 23 year old Kandi has lived, saw it and survived it all. While most young girls were at school learning colors and shapes, Kandi was home schooled learning the gift of gab, the art of pleasure and how her body was a money making enterprise.

Kandi has escaped the life she was born into, but on a quest to rid the anguish that still resides inside. She has to uncover wounds that haven’t healed well, and relive every vivid detail of her crazy past. She digs deep, holds nothing back, and takes you on every trick she has turned and every beating she has received. She takes you on a journey through her eyes of the gritty streets of Compton, and what life was for her, when she was known as Kandiland.
