The Hungry Turkey

You may know the story of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, but you have not read the story of The Hungry Turkey. This baby turkey hatches from her egg and spend her time eating and growing. The story begins on a Monday morning and goes throughout the entire week. Children will learn about what turkeys really eat in the wild, and will also review the days of the week. This story is a picture book appropriate for children as young as 5 years old. The readability is about second grade.
