As a self-taught artist and avid inner space traveler she has survived the "spiritually correct" world by being decidedly unsaintly, "I have finally given up the silly idea of how I think a spiritual seeker should behave. You know...infinitely patient, peaceful, soft-spoken and prayerful. I've met people who act that way and all they do is annoy me. When I try to act that way all I to is annoy myself and my cats."
Creating an alias "The Great Cosmic Happy-Ass" shortly after menopause allowed her and her thousands of customers to throw off the yoke of spiritual seriousness and showed us the way to keep in touch with our inner thighs, inner child, and inner muffins.
Diane now works out of her studio in Asheville, N.C. continuing to create new zany and inspirational original designs.
