Chrysalis (The Changeling Chronicles Book 1)

It was an errant baseball that sent 16 year old Shea O'Reilly to Ireland. While there, he inadvertently comes face to face with a leprechaun who informs him of his unwitting role in an ancient war dating over a thousand years before his birth. He must ultimately make a choice between what he should be versus what he must become.

In doing so, he must fight the changelings, a fairy race of shape shifters who have found King Brian's sword and kidnapped a Scion of his lineage in order to free their leader. Banished to Tir Na Nog, his release into Ireland spells doom for all of human kind. And it comes down to a 16 year old with a broken nose to find the courage to stop him.
