Unsaid Things

The things that are unsaid are by people who love children with behavioural and/or emotional special needs (like autism, bipolar depression, selective mutism and ADHD).

In a compilation of first person stories, mothers, fathers, a special needs teacher and a childcare professional talk about their own children and those they’ve encountered. They illustrate the difficulties of finding a diagnosis, and the trials of managing and living with a child with special needs in surroundings that often don’t understand or accept these children. Looking back, they share their challenges and triumphs, and looking forward, they share their hopes and apprehension.

This book is for them, and it's also for you. Because these children are everywhere and their parents need our help, compassion and empathy.
