The Snow Maiden

This story was inspired by an opera by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and a Russian fairy tale.

A childless couple who live in a cottage by the North Pole make a little girl out of snow. She magically comes to life and quickly grows to become a beautiful young woman. Through no fault of her own, the groom of her best friend falls in love with her and they turn to Santa Clause for advise.
