Crochet pattern, girls jute basket bag pattern

This lovely crocheted jute baskets bag are the cutest gift for any little girl! You can always make it out of wool or cotton of any other finer.
Every spring I want to work with jute, I love the idea that the summer is around the corner!, this little cute basket is made with jute and double strands of DK summer cotton yarn, if you prefer to work only the cotton the bag it will be just as lovely. Have fun!

Materials and notions:
Jute, I bought a ball in a garden centre, they do not know how long it is but I used just half of it for each bag. It is approximatly 200 gr of jute.
100gr of dk (light worsted weight) cotton yarn in pink, I worked the top of the bag with a double strand, if you want to make the change of colour, you will also need a very small amount of a lighter shade of pink or any colour of your choice.
Size hook H (5 mm)
Tapestry needle
