THE HORSE TAMER

The time is 1882. The place is Two Sisters, Minnesota, a lumber boom town that’s every bit as rough as Abilene, Tombstone and Dodge. Maybe more so. Card dealers and whores are in as much demand as carpenters and masons. As they say, Two Sisters is a town with hair on it. The man charged with keeping the peace is Jim Horse, Ojibwe Sheriff, whose idea of a good woman was one who was willing and within walking distance, and the lovely girl who came out of nowhere and became The Horse Tamer. The story is about love, passion, courage, long-remembered characters and happiness that was meant to be.
