This is a handbook of Tunisian Arabic (TA), the spoken language in Tunisia (tu:nes). It is a vernacular called Derja or Tu:nsi, an oral dialect of Classical Arabic. At the same time, Tunisian Arabic is influenced by European languages such as French and Italian, but also by the original Berber language. This handbook is primarily intended to visitors to Tunisia, so that they have a more authentic Tunisia experience, by getting familiarized with one primary facet of its culture: namely: its spoken language! it introduces them to the linguistic essence of Tunisian Arabic, and lets them learn it in comparison with their native language; English It is also intended to people who want to communicate in Tunsi with Tunisians anywhere in the world. It is at the same time a valuable resource for fans of foreign languages who are always keen to learn vernaculars from far away territories!
