TO OVERCOME

This book is dedicated to every human being who has suffered on any of the subjects in the 21 chapters of this book. One day I was sitting in my garden and I thought “wow, wouldn’t it be nice to write a book to myself about my experiences in life as a tool to some sort of therapy that could possibly help in my inner healing process” as the thought left me so did the idea of writing a book.

Years and years later God woke me up one night and He said “Write this down so that you won’t forget” I remember hearing that so crystal clear! I grabbed a pen and paper without switching on the light and started writing; it was the subjects God wanted me to write about. My first thought – “awesome!!” little did I know that for the next 5 years writing this book God would literally take me through every single chapter and cause a situation in my own life where I would learn from God how to Overcome these issues as a believer in Christ the Lord.

Let me tell you, it wasn’t fun and it certainly wasn’t easy! From severe depression right through to failed suicide attempts it wasn’t easy, but God pulled me through and in my experiences and what I learned how to overcome situations and issues through the power that was within.

But I knew that God would not let me write about how to “Overcome” something without having had to endure it and overcome it myself. God never ministers to those with golden spoons in their mouths, He ministers to the broken hearted, a world in despair and I knew that I had to relate to someone somewhere on the face of the earth because I would know exactly what it feels like and exactly what they were going through. I give all the glory to God. Right from the start God’s hand was the pen and I trust that this book will help every single Christian in the world “To Overcome”

This is my testimony and by it I trust the Holy Spirit will guide you to Overcome the storms of your life
