When an Opera flyer appeared in the post Morris Walker could never have imagined how it would link to a break in at his flat, a murder in his tower block or an attempt on his life. But as Morris struggled to come to terms with the split from his girlfriend, the inquisitive mind of Elliot, the small boy who had inexplicably forced himself into the resultant void, left him no option other than to investigate.
Delving into the dead man’s background, Morris uncovers a false identity, a link to a secretive international security firm, and a storage unit the contents of which fills him with dread. Working together, Morris and Elliot break the code in the opera flyer, uncover an assassination plot, and cross paths with the National Crime Agency (NCA).
In pursuit of answers, Morris takes his estranged girlfriend to a country estate. But instead of the incriminating evidence he has gone there to find, he uncovers adultery, a murder plot, and a garage full of high performance cars. With the weekend culminating in a death and destruction, he is lucky to get out alive.
