Heel Bow Knit Baby Shoes Pattern

These elegant little knit shoes have a sweet shape, knit in seed stitch with a ribbon tie at the heel to help keep them of baby’s kicking little feet. Perfect with special outfits and dresses! And the best part, they are knit in only one piece without having to pick up a single stitch. The pattern was created by a knitwear designer in Lyon, France.

The pattern will result in shoes size birth to 6 months.

You will need to know how to cast on stitches, knit stitches, purl stitches, knit two stitches together, make a stitch by knitting into the front and back of a stitch, yarn over, cast off, seam the finished work and knit in ends of the finished work – skill level intermediate.

A pair, for an average skilled knitter, should take approximately four hours to complete.

The models were knit in Tahki, Stacy Charles, Inc. Cotton Classic in color 3451.
