Eternal Preservative: A Zombie Tale Part 1

A company tries to create a preservative to forever prolong the shelf life of packaged meat -unbeknownst to them- they create a virus that spreads from Canada to the Pacific Northwest turning everyone in its path into flesh eating Zombies. Ryan, a 22 year old with a lack luster life, wakes up to find most of his family already turned. To survive the first wave of the zombie apocalypse he must fight his way out of his childhood home and through his war torn neighborhood. Ending up at Josh’s house -a former school bully- he teams up with him and a group of younger kids to ride out the zombie invasion. Josh’s sister Jocee hasn’t been heard from, so Josh forces Ryan to go with him out in the madness to find her. After finding Jocee, Ryan learns that she’s the girl he’d seen at the mall several weeks before, and couldn’t get her out of his mind. As the world dives deeper into darkness, Ryan is consumed with two things, Jocee, and avoiding being nominated leader of the group after an incident which leaves Josh on the sidelines. Upon returning home to a hero’s welcome the young group finds that the worst of the troubles have not passed, as a horde the size of entire Northwest population is headed their way. Reluctantly, Ryan begins to lead the group but leadership has its cost.
