If we're not careful we tend to look at disciple making as something we may choose to do or not do. Nothing like this can be far removed from the truth about what GOD actually wants.

The average believer believes that the reason why they are saved is so they can go to heaven. Some do better by knowing that the reason they are saved is so they can have an everlasting life which means having a relationship with JESUS CHRIST. Question then arises; if all I am to do is to get saved and have a wonderful relationship with JESUS CHRIST, which includes spending eternity with him in heaven why don't I just die immediately I get saved?

The answer is that GOD expects you to become a disciple and then become a disciple making disciple. In other words GOD's agenda is that you become a disciple maker!
