Madison lives a relatively uneventful life in small town New Mexico: hanging out with friends at the drive-in, volunteering at the local raptor center, and fighting off the advances of her high school’s star quarterback. All of that changes when a boy named Jim appears suddenly out of the desert. Where’s he from? What’s he doing there? And why does he look exactly like 1950's movie star James Dean? Even he doesn’t seem to know. Unable to resist helping someone in need, Madison sets out to find some answers. Soon, she finds herself in the middle of a mystery that just keeps growing. The closer she gets to Jim, the more questions arise until finally she’s forced to make a choice: give up on Jim or give up everything that she’s ever known.
