Description

WHO IS BOB HAMM?
A relatively young Seventh-day Adventist Minister and educator had dedicated seventeen and a half years of his life to the Church and was doing what he was born to do, just where he wanted to do it, and doing it HIS Way! He was called the missionary of the year just a few months before in the official church paper, The Review and Herald.
Within a period of only ninety days, his years of experience and his dreams came to a complete halt, and he turned in his letter requesting release from Church employment!
In the first volume off is life story, Robert spells it all out: how he became an Adventist, why he decided to become a professional minister/educator in the Church, what the wishes were of his parents, why he wanted to be an overseas missionary, and why he requested mission service every year for six years and never received a “call”. His first year was as an intern in Miami, and then he spent four years in the Dade City – Brooksville – Homosassa District in Florida.
This book explains why he requested a leave of absence the very month he was ordained as a professional minister, and went to Washington DC, where he finally received placement in the Inter American Division of Seventh-day Adventists and worked five years on the Dutch island of Aruba.
Robert finally get to Colombia, and ends up on the headwaters of the Amazon and Orinoco Rivers, happy as a lark doing what he had always wanted to do. Find out how the axe fell, and why!
The story of the book, I DID IT MY WAY!, lays the groundwork for other outstanding adventures in the life of Robert Hamm. Book two, CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN, and book three, TO DREAM THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM, will bring the reader up the year 2014 and the greatest of all his adventures, which is only the beginning!
Bob knows just what has to be done and how to do it, and he will be doing it HIS WAY!
