There's a lot of information in here, and I really liked reading about playing the game from a casual perspective rather than a full-time gamer. The thing I liked the most, though, was that the author didn't spoil the game for me by giving me every detail of what happens. I like being able to find things out on my own.

Fifty Something

I am the guy who doesn’t read the manual. I’m an ordinary bloke. I was barely a teenager when Pong was state of the art. But that’s why some of you will relate to me; I am you. I’m not a twitch killer with thousands of hours of experience and the reflexes of a coked up Ninja (BTW if you are, you still might learn from this book because we go smart, not hard). I'm a fifty-something with slow reflexes, poor hand eye coordination and no sense of direction or spatial awareness. My brain only has eighty percent of the bandwidth required to play modern FPSs, but I still have fun; this book shows you how.
