Tragedy and Consequence
Description
Sophie is a single mom, the daughter of an underground preacher (Shawn), who is struggling to make ends meet. She is tired of seeing her son suffer, but struggles with taking the United People's of America's pledge to get food assistance knowing that it will lead to alienating her father even more from she and her son's life.
Rashaad is an up and coming performer for the Eldersburg, Maryland police force where his dad is the Chief. Both have dealt with the loss of their mother in their own way, but as tensions mount from numerous fronts each will have to decide what to do with the people and circumstances in their lives.
Follow each character as they handle personal tragedy and the consequences of their decisions in a religiously paranoid society.
