Maybe for some, but after years of frustration dealing with ragged edged rulers and cheap action gauges leaving scratches in my and my customer's freshly polished frets... maybe you're in a similar place, and no longer willing to accept this damage either.
These are lovingly crafted in USA by a dedicated and passionate team.
Every other gauge you see is made in China with "technology" that we tried and and abandoned long ago. Those are just re-purposed metal business cards, which are much more thin and flimsy, with accuracy that is nowhere near what we demand. The FretGuru 2 will serve you for a lifetime!
**Re your leather case** Since we just decided to do this on a whim, there are still some FretGuru 2 gauges left in Amazon's stock that DO NOT include the leather case. Please don't freak out ;-)
If you ordered your FretGuru 2 on April 2 or later, and it did not include the leather case, just send me a note with your order ID # and I'll be glad to send you one. This is of course on the honor system.
