Description

For nine days, 11 of us walked up the mountain and made it to TOP. Each and everyone of us had a dream and we shared joyous feeling of what it means to have "Dream Come True".

Journey on one mountain covers every season, every landscape and every bit of natural beauty available to Human Eye. We walked through tall trees, dry desserts, heavy rain, rocky mountain, sandy hills and touched the glaciers. It was incredible!!!

I have taken extra time to discuss selection process for route, when and why to take medications, safety precautions and most of all porters and guides. These are very valuable resources that can make this lifetime experience the Best Ever.

The journey from top of mountain back to Barafu Camp is filled with amazing sense of happiness and incredible sunset. The Sun, yeah The Sun that always rises and sets above our head can be seen setting way below our eyesight. Since you are at 19,000 feet higher than the actual surface of earth the Sun far way sets below your feet. It was most humbling and powerful view at same time.

This eyesight of Sunset can only be matched with sense of touch to stunning glaciers. It's quiet unbelievable that a ice drop can stay frozen for millions of years, It just doesn't make sense that tallest mountain closest to equator has been covered with crown of glaciers. This history of millenia is melting fast and soon there won't be any ice cap on this roof of Africa.

I hope you enjoy 9 day journey away from digital world, get closer to nature and paint picture of how civilizations could have been formed on all different landscapes dark forest, desserts, sandy hills and snowy cap.
