The Powers of the Coming Age

Seeking new heights in your Christian experience? There is a power largely overlooked by most followers of Jesus, however it’s not found on the mountaintops, but in a Cave. Come with us to the Island of Patmos and enter the Cave of “the Apocalypse,” where, I believe, the Apostle John discovered “The Powers of the Coming Age (Heb. 6:5).” It was here that, many believe, he heard the literal Voice of Jesus, a Voice so powerful, so real, it ripped a fissure in the Cave, literally and physically opening the rock above the Apostle’s head, so that he could hear, see and experience the Glorious Presence of Jesus!

Unknown powers? What could these be? The Power to overcome the Beast and his “Mark” (Rev. 15:2-3)! Power to ride with Jesus on white horses of triumphant praise conquering every enemy that we face (Rev. 19:14). But most importantly, the power to experience the: “Jesus of the Future,” now!

Since Jesus is the “Same, yesterday, today and forever,” then all that He ever was or will be is available to us RIGHT NOW! We all face “beasts” of various kinds of evil, which, like vampires, suck the life out of us or like wild beasts, devour parts of our lives, leaving nothing but pain. But, as Believers, we can and should overcome them. We can and should join the followers of Jesus in the Book of Revelation and experience His Glorious Presence: The Presence of the Lion, the Lamb, the Warrior, and the Conqueror--now.
