Description
Leaving retirement to chance is dangerous. Taking control of your retirement is critically important. Nurse Mike has suffered and lived on the other side of healthcare. At age 5, he was electrocuted when he bit into an electrical cord hanging from the ceiling. At age 13 he was run over by a mammoth sized baby blue Chevy Malibu. He was by all practical terms dead. He was blind for a while. He had broken ribs, a broken back, a broken pelvis, a broken collar bone, a punctured lung, an abdomen full of blood, and severe burns to his back where the 3,000 pound car dug its tires deep into his back to the bone like a racecar spinning its tires in place. It seemed surreal. But this was real life for Nurse Mike. After spending countless days in the Intensive Care Unit with tubes coming out of every orifice, he finally woke up. He could now see, but he couldn’t talk. He had a tracheotomy tube sticking out of his neck. This was devastating for a young kid who loved to read, play sports, and talk to family and friends. After going completely against what his doctor’s advised, he started running, slowly at first, falling down frequently. Then he discovered that by lifting weights along with exercise and a good diet he was able to recover and excel. But that was not enough. He dug deeper for 11 years to come up with other alternatives to health problems. Fortunately he was able to fully recover and play sports including baseball, football, basketball, weightlifting, bodybuilding, golf, and more even though he now had scars all over his body and one leg shorter than the other. The best thing to come out of Nurse Mike’s tragedy was his determination to help others with whatever type of health problem they may have. And he found that taking piles of medications is not always the answer. And even though some meds are necessary and beneficial, he searched out ways to help almost anyone be healthier regardless of their present condition. He wrote these books as part of The Little Guys Ways To Riches because he understands that there is more to life than just money. Being rich truly means being able to enjoy the life you deserve to and were meant to live. He publishes his books under the series The Little Guys Way To Riches. I hope you enjoy the book.
