Description
Before there were divided tribes, the El’os were one people. Set in the shadow of Red Mountain by the Great Spirit, they lived peacefully. While most of their history has been forgotten, a few oral stories remain.
In the end times, a leader will come from Red Mountain and call forth the Rainbow Warriors. These men, women, and youths will heal the earth and make things right again. Peace will flourish throughout the world. There are challenges that will prove his leadership. That One will lead the people to Gold Mountain, ride a Ghost Horse, and walk across the Sacred Flats.
In his lifetime, Raven, the man who would be chief, had never heard of anyone daring to walk on the consecrated ground. There were stories that a monstrous protector lived beneath the hallowed Flats and only the one who comes to summon the Warriors would survive.
Still, in his heart, Raven knew that he was THE ONE who would be the fruition of the El’os prophecy. He would gather the Rainbow Warriors and together they would cure the ills of the world. As Raven gazed out toward the great mountain, he wondered how it would happen.
Squinting in the early morning light, his soul filled with anguish as he stared at the apparition crossing the Sacred Flats from Red Mountain. It was a woman. She wasn’t El’os.
