The Vostok Juncture

When Arthur Sinclair, chairman of the near-bankrupt AmCorp, accelerates the schedule to explore Lake Vostok, buried two miles beneath Antartica’s icy landscape, his desperate search for gold sets in motion a deadly plan to kill everyone at the station and bring down AmCorp.

'The Vostok Juncture' is an action-murder mystery set in a not-so-distant future, at an Antarctic science research station. The world is governed by mega-corporations and AntiCorp fights to restore human rights. The story follows Chairman Arthur Sinclair as he races against time to save AmCorp from imminent bankruptcy. His desperate plan to confirm the presence of gold in Lake Vostok triggers an avalanche of deadly events orchestrated by AntiCorp.

The Vostok staff, cut off from the rest of the world by a deadly storm, are forced to fight for their lives. Beset at every turn by sabotage and spies intent on murder, the scientists face impossible choices and scramble for solutions to an ever-increasing mountain of problems.

Vostok Juncture is a bobsled-run of a story. Along the way, you'll encounter unreasonable deadlines, murder, an untested deep-sea submarine, death, gold, nasty bacteria, impostors, love, more murders, spies, bombs, snipers, mistrust, quicksand ice, kerosene rivers, saboteurs, even more murders, and desperate amateurs.
