Description
Six years before L’Auto newspaper started its 19-day bicycle race across France to increase its’ sales in 1903, a group of American soldiers was about to attempt an unprecedented feat. They were going to ride their bicycles across the American West, a distance of over 1,900 miles, in six weeks time. They were Uncle Sam’s Riders, the 25th Infantry Bicycle Corps.
