Donna McNally returns to Burgenton, Indiana to be honored for an event she wants to forget. Murders and mysteries surrounding the secret Confederate gold continue to haunt her as she travels back in time and recounts the year in which her quiet, small town life is disrupted by a series of murders and the lives of everyday people are turned upside down.
