Is the iPhone camera just as good as a DSLR?

In my daily search I followed my curiosity and decided to do some research from various bloggers, photographers, and journalist on the iPhone photography. And compile it into an easy read for my enthusiastic photography readers.
Now days anyone can be a photographer it’s all in the applications center and the eye of the photographer. Many times I see a wonderful photo and realize this is an iPhone image, and I eagerly ask which applications the photographer used to achieve that particular look; or try to recreate the exact image with my DSLR.
Which led me to the question ….Is the iPhone camera just as good as my DSLR?
