Jake's List (The Second American Revolution Book 1)

Doc found the key to his gun cabinet and unlocked the glass door. He selected the Remington 30.06 and found a box of shells laying in the bottom of the cabinet. Taking the gun and the shells, he walked onto his patio, overlooking the lake. A hundred and fifty yards across the small bay, his neighbor, a federal judge, was busy cleaning his boat. Doc laid the rifle on the patio table, found a chair and sat down. He slowly loaded 3 shells into the Remington's magazine. The rifle had a bi-pod support. It was something Doc needed since he was 88 years old. He carefully looked through the scope until he found the judge. Taking a deep breathe, Doc squeezed the trigger the instant the cross hairs settled on the judge's chest. Thus, the first shot of the Second American Revolution was fired.
