“Spirit Run†is my story of a journey that I took, as an American Veteran across America to help bring about an awareness of the many problems our Veterans face. After serving honorably with the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War I share the ups and downs, the highs and the lows of my personal struggle to survive and to find a place and purpose in this life and world.
These stories are all true. I have chosen to use nicknames for some of the characters in this book to help preserve and respect the privacy of those individuals.
This book is meant to share some of my life’s experiences so that it may help other Veterans in their journey through life and especially to let them know that they are not alone.
To all Veterans, thank you for your service to our country, it did mean something.
