“Please don’t do this to me,” Jasmine said with a tear rolling down her face. “I swear to God I’ll call you as soon as I drop them off!”
Big Smoke turned to KK. “Go get in the car and follow me.”
“The car’s in my name,” Jasmine cried. “Don’t do this shit Smoke.”
KK stared at Big Smoke hoping he would come to his senses, but Big Smoke’s eyes showed no ability to compromise.
KK slowly got out of the Navigator and walked back to the Camry. As he approached the driver’s side door, he felt a hand on his shoulder. Not hard, but definitely restraining.
“Hey Jasmine,” said the man holding KK, “this is enough of this shit. Tell me what’s going on here.”
Jasmine felt the door of the Navigator begin to open. She pressed her weight against it to hold Big Smoke in. “Just let him take the car and go. I’ll explain it to you later!”
“No, Jasmine,” the man said, “I can’t go for this shit. You come back here and explain this shit to me, now!”
Jasmine started to scream as the Navigator door was pushed with more force. The battle over the door only lasted about five seconds before Big Smoke overwhelmed her and climbed out.
“Take the car,” Jasmine screamed. “Just take it. Please don’t trip like this.”
Big Smoke pushed Jasmine to the ground. From the back of his waist, he pulled out a Desert Eagle pistol, and without any hesitation began to shoot.
