Not to be gross here, but I have had fish food poisoning before. I used to eat raw fish for a while when I was "trying to become one with the earth"! The key term here is used to. The fish that got me was raw auhi tuna

Never again! I thought I was gonna die. I am not joking either. It was so bad that I literally could not move my entire body not one inch. I couldn't roll over to my side to vomit, or even pick up my phone to call anyone for help, as I lived by myself with only my dogs. In fact I was violently sick for more than 24 hours straight! This book was interesting and discussed a variety of types of fish food poisonings and the types of fish that carry these toxins. It also talks about the symptoms you get from each type of poisoning. I personally think that I must have eaten some type of a mutant ninja tuna! Because I truly thought that I was going to die!

Just got over a bout of food poisoning. Never want to go through that experience again. This book really helped me understand the specific causes of fish food poisoning so that I can avoid getting it in the future. The sections on the treatment for food poisoning were also very helpful. Don't want to worry all the time if the food I'm eating will give me food poisoning again, and the information in this book has really given me some extra confidence.

This was a very well written book on a scary subject. After getting worms from what I believe was to be bad sushi, I decided to do some further research on fish food poisoning. This book contains some great information on what to look out for and how to avoid fish food poisoning. It's scary to think I did not know some of this information! 5 stars and worth the read!
