Myst Rising

The myst is everywhere, and it’s expanding. The few pockets of life that remain are under siege. Acton can sense the myst before it rises, which keeps his people safe until the myst starts to bring new monsters to his world.

Arreanne has a rare ability to manipulate the myst, using it to travel across worlds. When she appears in time to save Acton from a deadly attack, it seems like a stroke of fortune. She’s the ally he needs and the woman he’s been waiting for, except, she’s not quite human.

Oliver’s world is shrouded in myst. The last survivors have taken refuge in the crumbling remains of skyscrapers. The myst is rising, and driving the people of his city mad. Oliver lives on the fringes, repurposing those lost in the myst into useful, productive citizens of Xanx. Until he fishes out a dying boy. He shouldn’t try to save him and he most certainly shouldn’t get attached.
