Mining For Gold: A Gold Miner's Journey

This book is not about gold mining in the traditional sense of the word although as I read this I can see a strong correlation to the type of gold mining I am referring to and through out this book it is my wish that you see it too. It is also my wish that you also reap the benefits of gold mining like I have. No, the gold mining I refer to throughout this book relates to those "golden nuggets" we discover about ourselves when we embark on a self-discover journey. The gold you will discover in this book comes from my personal journey and the journey of others who have been kind enough to share with me. There is gold within you and I promise, if you are up for the adventure that you will find gold you seek. We all have precious gold within each of us and I invite you to find out how you can start mining for yours. It begins here within the pages of this book.

Have you ever thought you were meant to do something important in your life but you didn't have a clue as to what that important thing was? I spent the better part of my life thinking this and I started to feel quite frustrated in my 40's because I hadn't figured it out. It nagged me relentlessly, eating away at me like a starving animal. I felt it's constant presence throughout my life. At times it was the source of my unhappiness, knowing I was born to do something that would make a difference for others, going through life trying different things to see if they were "it". Each experience left me feeling empty and incomplete with a growing sense of frustration because I was getting older and I didn't feel any closer to understanding my purpose. As I got older I could feel myself starting to panic because my clock was ticking and I still wasn't doing anything important! (in my mind) Something important was definitely missing and I knew I wouldn't be happy until I found it.

I believe I'm not alone with these thoughts, I believe there are many people just like me who are looking for something in life and I believe that by reading this book I can help others find what they seek.
