A year after their theft of the Wallenstein diamond, Hayden and Karla are in Monte Carlo preparing for another scam. Their time together has been sizzling, but now funds are running short and these two free spirits are beginning to question whether they can give the commitment that their passions demand.

The strains on their relationship are all the more apparent when Karla is introduced to the Marquis de Valmont. Handsome, sophisticated and very rich, Hayden believes that Valmont is their next meal ticket. Valmont, however, has set his sights on Karla and she begins to suspect that he's a very different kind of main course. Add to that the presence of the marquis's companion, the sexually voracious Eloise - who seems determined to test Hayden's legendary manhood - and it looks as though a beautiful partnership will come to an end.

Invited to his chateau in the south of France, Karla and Hayden find it increasingly difficult to keep their minds on the job. When they discover Valmont's dark secrets, however, once more they combine forces to do something that comes as shock to the two con artists: for the first time in their lives they want to deliver justice.
