Three-level resource kit provides models of the scientific approach to problem solving through hands-on investigation of the Laws of Motion. It promotes science literacy and an interest in science education through co-operative learning to excite students about science, math, engineering and to motive them to study these subjects. It is a fully integrated print and video program that emphasizes hands-on discovery of science principles in a cooperative learning setting. It is dedicated to awakening in children a sense of wonder and excitement about the world in which they live and to creating in them an awareness that these interests can be channeled toward careers in science and engineering. Components include teacher's guides, materials booklet, forming and implementing design teams booklet, three level specific design team logs, teacher directed cards, posters, independent learning cards, logs, VHS video, posters and award certificates. All learning and teacher directed cards are laminated for easy cleaning and for use over and over again.
