Ari's Journey

A lone ambulance speeds down an Israeli highway dodging missiles whose explosions illuminate the night sky. In the ambulance a young girl lies severely wounded, her life's blood ebbing away in a race against death, while her father, Ari Cohen, an Israeli police officer prays that they can get to a hospital in time.
Months earlier Ari's wife, Ruth, had been murdered in a terrorist bombing in Tel Aviv. Now fearing that he may lose the rest of his family from the violence taking place around him, he is torn by his son Daniel's desire to avenge his mother's death and his own fear of making his children orphans should he go after his wife's killers himself. When his son takes matters into his own hands and goes into the West Bank after his mother's murderers, Ari has no choice but to follow Daniel if he is to save him.
Thus begins Ari's odyssey -a life-changing journey to find the brutal terrorist leader, Malik Hamid, he suspects is holding his son, Daniel. In the course of this Ari becomes a wanted fugitive, is helped and also hindered by both allies and enemies who are Palestinian and Israeli, is reunited with a former love and learns that what Malik intends for Daniel is far more diabolic - something that would affect thousands of innocent people.
