“Hurry up,” I heard her call out.
“Already done,” I said as I walked back. I looked around but she had disappeared, a pile of clothes sat next to where she’d sat. The water rippled with waves. I walked to her pile of clothes, suddenly she surfaced at the far end of the pool.
“What the hell?” I said.
“We might as well be the first to swim since you fixed the problem,” she said. “We’ll never get another chance to swim alone once this place opens.”
“Uh… sure,” I looked down and picked up a small wisp of sheer red and black fabric. “Are these your panties… cause that would mean that you’re naked.”
She gave me a big smile, “How many people can say they went skinny dipping in Afghanistan?”
