Shifting Sand

The world of the supernatural is wrought with battles between races, discord amid clans, and fear among those that can’t defend themselves. It is those supernaturals that seek solace in The Haven. Built by the Sylph thousands of years ago, The Haven was meant to be a place of beauty and safety for those who needed it but, for more than one hundred years, the city has deteriorated into near ruin. What’s worse, the city has become a target for war among other clans because of misdeeds of their leader, Henry Sylph. His cruelty has hurt and angered all who lives in The Haven, but none more than his daughter, Aura, who is, by far, the most powerful supernatural in their world. She is infuriated by the peril that her father has created for those who live under his leadership and will stop at nothing to keep them safe.
Her resolve to protect The Haven is tested when they are attacked by the Egyptians, the most feared and mysterious race. When there seems to be no hope for her city, Aura comes face to face with the most sadistic of the three Egyptian leaders and a most sacred bond is formed. Despite her constant efforts to deny their bond, Aura finds a world that has always fascinated her but never dreamed possible. She also finds love so powerful that, some believe, could give meaning to the phrase, ‘I love you to death’.
Aura must find the truth about this power and live before a greater enemy destroys her and everyone she loves.
