I don't think many people have really gone into the question of what exactly Messianism is. And certainly I heard a variety of interpretations which are far removed from the reality. And so many people are described, even to-day, as Messiahs, that betray neither the qualities nor qualifications which are or should be associated with that title, which is a title of service.
