Are We Having Fun Yet?: A Sailing Adventure Around The World

What started out as a 2 year sabatical to just do "a bit of cruising to the East Coast", evolved into an adventure spanning the entire globe. From Fremantle, Western Australia to SE Asia, across the northern Indian Ocean - The Arabian Sea - The Red Sea and through the Suez Canal to The Mediterranean - across The Atlantic Ocean - through The Caribbean to Venezuela and onward to the Panama Canal - into The Pacific Ocean and down to New Zealand - completing the circle in Darwin, Australia - finally arriving home 7 1/2 years later.

The contents of this journal were gathered from newsletters home combined with notes from the ships log in an effort to keep the story "real" as boaties are notorious in telling whoppers!

For anyone seriously planning to head out for a similar adventure sometime in the future, the last section of this "Journal" contains anchorages and their GPS positions - extracted from the ships log - but we stress that these be used as a guide only.

Throughout the adventure, we would ask each other - "Are We Having Fun Yet?" By the time we arrived home again, we had found the answer - and with any luck you will too!
