Child of Storms is the first volume of the Ravenbane Saga, an epic fantasy adventure in the grand tradition of sword and sorcery.

The Cult of Amundágor had been defeated more than a century ago, after an epic battle which shook the foundations of Pallinore. The Dark Lord Amundágor, son of the evil god Kaas, had been banished from the world.

Or so it was thought.

Throughout the west, rumors of the Cult’s return circulated among the communities of men, elves, and dwarves. The specter of war soon loomed once again, the awakening of a mindless evil that knew no bounds.

At the center of events was thrust Jorn Ravenbane, heir to The Westmark. A bastard raised in his uncle’s hall and a pariah to his family, Jorn couldn’t imagine the destiny the gods had in store for him. The appearance of a one-eyed dwarf at his uncle’s door one night changed everything.

Soon, Jorn would find himself dealing with events spinning out of control. He would command a great host of warriors only to become a fugitive, hunted and alone. Coping with his own self-destructive tendencies and the memories of a heart-breaking tragedy, he will struggle to maintain his humanity in his all-consuming quest for revenge.
