Academic Vocabulary Reference, Grades 3-5: a Teacher Planning Tool with Academic Content, Verbs, and Verb Phrases From the Common Core and National Standards

The Academic Vocabulary Reference, Grades 3-5 is designed to help teachers and administrators to implement the Common Core English Language Arts and Mathematics Standards and the Science and Social Studies State and National Standards. By embedding verbs and verb phrases derived from the Common Core, as well as Next Generation Science and National Standards for Social Studies, educators can plan vocabulary-rich learning activities, assess student progress, and provide intervention as needed.
