False Impressions

Brianna Taylor knows that nearly all of Michael Walker’s family was brutally murdered 19 years ago when she takes on the case at the request of his uncle, a local attorney. Michael appears to be the number one suspect of these acts, but he can’t remember what happened on the day his family died. What she doesn’t know when she arrives in Yakima, Washington, to investigate what the uncle calls threats, is that she will become swept up in a maelstrom of madness and mayhem swirling around a years’ long series of abductions of area children. As she probes deeper into the mystery, she finds herself being confronted by antagonistic police, meddlesome relatives, and a protective ghost who seems to be trying to tell her something vital.
