Having a prickly boss is like eating blowfish minus the thrill and exoticness of it all. Every time you meet the boss, it comes with some sort of reaction. In blowfish, it’s the numbing of feeling, in meeting your boss it's a lecture. But there's always the chance that something goes terribly wrong; in eating blowfish it's suffering a paralysis of the heart and brain effectively killing you; with the boss it's a lecture and a firing. Both are not something you'll have to deal with in your life, it's a matter of chance and circumstance, it’s there so it's just there. But unlike the former where you do it out of curiosity, having a prickly boss is a reality you have to deal with and find no pleasure in unless you're a secret masochist.
