Saint Yogananda taught this "secret" to Mahatma Gandhi and he was sent to America to spread this "secret" to all sincere God seekers in the West. In his Autobiography, you will find out how the Saint was able to enter a state of BREATHLESSNESS while Meditating on God, see Chapter 7 - Breathless State of a God Master. In addition, you will discover over 100 Spiritual Lessons and Secrets which Saint Yogananda reveals while giving you a rare firsthand account of his life.

The Autobiography from Saint Yogananda was Voted Top 100 Spiritual Books of the 20th Century –HarperCollins

CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL series co-creator Jack Canfield: “You would be hard-pressed to find anyone on the Spiritual path whose life has not been influenced by this profound work of literature. I first read the Autobiography of a Yogi in the 1970s during a vacation in the mountains of Guatemala. It awakened in me a desire to plumb my own Spiritual depths and heights. It started me in a path of yoga, meditation, and self-exploration that has continued until this day.....”

Steve Jobs biography by Walter Isaacson's: "One book in particular stayed with (Steve) Jobs his entire life...Autobiography… the guide to Meditation (on God) and Spirituality that he had first read as a teenager, then re-read in India and had read once a year ever since."

New York Times: “A rare account.”

Newsweek: “..fascinating”

Excerpt from Chapter 17, I Experience the Breathless State of God
In this excerpt, Saint Yogananda is describing the Advanced Spiritual state of Breathlessness, “My body became immovably rooted. The BREATH was drawn out of my lungs as if by some huge magnet. Soul and mind instantly lost their physical bondage, and streamed out like a fluid piercing light from my every pore. The flesh was as though “dead” (see Spiritual Lesson: St. Paul – A Christian God Master, to learn about St. Paul entering the Breathless state of God Awareness), yet in my intense awareness I knew that never before had I been fully alive. My sense of identity was no longer narrowly confined to a body, but embraced the circumambient atoms. The roots of plants and trees appeared through a dim transparency of the soil; I discerned the inward flow of their sap.”

“My Spiritual teacher Sri Yukteswar taught me how to enter the BREATHLESS STATE, at will. He also taught me how to transmit the Breathless State to others, if their “Intuitive Channels were properly developed." For months I entered the state of Breathlessness, comprehending why the Upanishads say God is the most relishable (rasa).”

YOUR SON WILL BE A MAN OF GOD.....
The Spiritual life of Saint Paramhansa Yogananda was foretold several times during his early years:

Excerpt from Chapter 4 - My Mother's Death and the Mystic Amulet
Saint Lahiri Mahasaya is talking to the mother of Mukunda (Paramhansa Yogananda). "Little mother, thy son will be a yogi (God scientist). As a Spiritual engine, he will carry many souls to God's kingdom"

Excerpt from Chapter 5 - The Saint Who Materializes Two Bodies
When talking with Mukunda (Paramhansa Yogananda) as a youth, Swami Pranabananda (Saint with two bodies) gave the author this blessing, "Your life belongs to the path of renunciation (a Monastic life to pursue God) and yoga (uniting the soul with God). I shall see you again, with your father, later on." The years brought fulfillment to both these predictions....

Excerpt from Chapter 10 - The Levitating Saint
Shortly before I embarked for America, I sought him out and humbly knelt for his farewell blessing. "Son, go to America. Take the dignity of hoary India for your shield. Victory is written on your brow; the noble distant people will well receive you." -Bhaduri Mahasaya (not Lahiri Mahasaya)
