Annie Day has been friends with Cassie Meadows since they went to University together. Their lives have moved on and taken them through boyfriends, husbands, children and houses. With Annie's world crumbling around her, she looks to her old friend for support. They agree to meet in the one place they have always found peace-Hope Cove. The woman have been holidaying together at the cove once a year since they met.
