Young, naïve, isolated, alone and stranded being harbored by strangers and striving to fit within a judgmental society. Facing an arduous life battling, cultural and social differences, lack of family supports, lack of money, negative peers, domestic violence, sleeping in an all night theatre and more. Being born to impoverished parents who struggled to provide but in the end the mother lost her life to domestic violence. Orphaned at five days old, adopted into privilege, eventually left to fend for her self but against all odds decided to accomplish the dream. It’s about mentoring and inspiring others to realize their own potential and that they too can accomplish their dreams against any odds. This is the story of that immigrant girl that grew up and wrote her story.
