PROLOGUE
"She was everything that I dreamt of-everything." She was so subtly alluring and statuesque. Robert found himself gawking without even realizing it.
Oddly enough the old adage “Nice Guys Finish Last” would be tested for this accomplished yet average guy named Robert.
While waiting for his flight Robert undertakes a mission to meet a beautiful young woman he spots strolling through the airport waiting area. As his attention is drawn towards this beautiful young woman he wonders who she is and how she might become someone he wants to know more about.
Now, Robert is a gentle and patient man, but not naïve. He knows people aren't always out to get you, but he's also aware that people tend to take advantage if they feel you are doubtful of your approach to things. He was taught early in life that if you were looking for an honest relationship you should display a positive attitude, and do the things you say you would, then people tend to open up. Robert was never the kind of guy to get nervous about speaking up when meeting someone new, but the beauty that came across his path this day flustered him so much, leaving him uncertain and trying to think of not only the correct thing to say to her, but if he should say anything at all.
This feeling was a bit of a struggle for him and it left him uncomfortable. As his mind wondered who she was and what she was about, the voice over the intercom in the airport announced the last boarding call for his flight.
It brought him back from his temporary fantasy and sadly he realized that his desire to know more about her would not be possible, but when circumstances push them together the duo find an unexpected connection.
