Digital Logic and Computer Organization

This book is an elementary introduction to Digital Logic and Computer Organization. Logically divided into two parts the book explains the fundamentals and applications of digital logic and computer organizations. It explains binary codes, graphics, audio and video, application of Boolean algebra and so on. It further discusses about combinatorial circuits to illustrate how a given specification is interpreted, appropriate Boolean variables selected, inputs and outputs identified, and a combinatorial logic circuit is designed. The computer organization aspect of this book presents a layered view of a computer system. The book describes several devices used for input and output of computers. It is designed to cover the requirements of a first-course in computer organization for undergraduate Computer Science, Electronics, or MCA students.
