Area 51 - Part 1: Mission to Mars

Brad Walsh lives a rather privileged, but unfulfilled life as a corporate executive. When the historic mission to Mars commanded by his once childhood friend reaches the red planet, Brad starts to question his missed ambitions. After a sudden inexplicable event spells the mission's doom, Brad is approached by an enigmatic woman who surprisingly offers him an opportunity to discover the mystery behind the ill-fated mission. The leap into the unknown, however tempting it might be, has a consequence. Brad must choose between his personal ambition and that of his family life .

In the meantime, China is preparing for their ambitious moon mission as man returns to its surface long after the Apollo years. An excited and anxious Chen is one of the remaining six astronauts eagerly competing for the final three spots. Despite being the best available candidate, Director Ling, a top Communist Party member, has other plans for Chen. He is to be sent on a secret mission that will not only defy human comprehension, but verify the credibility of the imminent destruction of China.
